Location and Driving Information Public Transportation Instructions

Our College Park ministry facility, pictured near the top of this page, is at 4907 Niagara Road, Suite 102. It is very easy to find. We are close to the intersection of U.S. Route 1 (Baltimore Ave.) and the Capital Beltway (Interstate 495). From the Beltway, take Route 1 South heading toward College Park at Beltway exit 25. Turn left at the first stop light on Route 1 onto Edgewood Road. (Or, if you are headed out of College Park on Route 1, Edgewood is at the last stop light before the Beltway and you would turn right.) Follow Edgewood to the first stop sign. The first stop sign on Edgewood is at Rhode Island Ave. You will see a dry cleaning store on your left (the store is in a building that was originally a service station, so its easy to spot). Between that building and Rhode Island Ave. is a service road that runs parallel to Rhode Island Ave. Turn left on this service road. This short (about 2 blocks) service road dead ends into Niagara. Turn left on Niagara where the service road dead-ends. Our building is on the left, just behind a small strip mall you will see on your left. There is PLENTY of free parking. If the lot at our building is full, park in the parking lot behind the mid-rise office building directly across the street. (We have negotiated permission to use this lot.) Please do not park on the street. We want to be good neighbors to the folks who live in the homes just up the street. We are in Suite 102, on the ground floor in the center part of the building. As you are facing the building, you can go through either of the large openings under the white arches. If you go through the left one, take the door to your right. If you go through the right one, take the door to your left. METRO Rail: The nearest station is the Greenbelt Station on the Green line. If you choose to walk from the station, it is about 3/4 mile. *This should actually be on the service road that runs on the west side of Rhode Island Ave. Look for a closed service station at the corner of Edgewood and Rhode Island. If that station is on your side of Rhode Island, then you are on the correct side. The service road runs between that station and Rhode Island Ave. METRO Bus: Our ministry facility is served by Metro Bus Route #81 (Sunday only service). You can catch the #81 at the Greenbelt (Green Line) Metro Rail station. Take the #81 Metro Bus toward Cherry Hill. Travel time should be less than 10 minutes. Get off at the intersection of Rhode Island Ave. and Edgewood Road. See the map above for the very short walking route to our ministry facility. You can also reach the church by Metro Bus Route #86 during the week, but the nearest stop is not much closer than the Greenbelt Metro Rail Station. For more information, consult Metro's web site.
