Community Resources

Food and Friends   Food and Friends is a terrific organization, originally formed to provide meals to persons with HIV/AIDS.  It still is a critical resource to persons with HIV/AIDS in the Washington, DC, metro area, but is now expanding services to include others with severe illnesses.  Food & Friends provides meals and groceries to almost 1,000 clients each month. A wonderful place, whether you are in need of their services or are looking for a place to put your volunteer services to work where it will really count.
